About Embrave Physical Therapy
At Embrave PT, we are committed to redefining the conversation
around pelvic health and sexuality education. Founded by
Michelle—a queer, asexual, and neurodivergent expert—our
practice operates on the principle that healthcare must be
accessible, affirming, and inclusive for everyone, regardless of
their identity or background.
We strive to transform confusion into curiosity and insecurity
into autonomy, empowering our clients to reclaim their bodies
and voices. Our unique approach is guided by trauma-informed
care, ensuring that each individual feels safe and respected
while exploring their needs and desires. We celebrate the
diversity of human experiences and understand that common
issues are often dismissed as "normal." Our mission is to
challenge this stigma and provide an open space for dialogue
about pelvic function, sexuality, and overall well-being.
Through a combination of educational resources, virtual
sessions, community events, and personalized support,
Embrave PT fosters an environment where clients can explore
their bodies, ask questions, and gain confidence in their
autonomy. We are committed to helping humans navigate their
health journeys with curiosity, joy, and empowerment.
About Me
I identify as queer, agender, asexual, ADHD'er, white, southerner, exercise enthusiast with a penchant for nerding out about science and sexuality. I am privileged to have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a 500-hour Yoga teacher training program. I am fortunate that the many things I left unfinished continue to inform my current practice.
I chose to create Embrave Physical Therapy out of a desire to have my identity be a known lens that I use when interacting with clients, instead of something I hide. I have a broad and brilliant support system, and I have experienced ineffective and inattentive care.

My hope is that through Embrave Physical Therapy I can help people navigate their bodies and their relationships with other healthcare providers in a way that places the individual as the agent. Healthcare is for every one, and 15-minute visits are not sufficient to treat the an individual, whole, human. You are not broken. The U.S. medical industrial complex is.
